Ill be kicking off this years Christmas posts featuring our gorgeous new, blue and gold Christmas ornaments from the Biltmore Collection from Balsam Hill.

I cannot wait to bring in a green tree again this year. This majestic beauty has 8000 micro LED lights! Weve been using a flocked Christmas tree for about five years and we havent had a green Christmas tree since before that, when our trees were real.

I miss having a real Christmas tree in our living room, but I can truly say, that having a faux tree is amazing! No mess and so easy to put up and also pack away. Ill also be using this beautiful, pre-lit BH Balsam Fir garland from Balsam Hill that will adorn our mantel this Christmas season and possibly our entryway. I ordered 2, ten foot garlands with clear LED lights and cant wait to decorate them.

I hung a small pine and berry wreath to the tile behind the stove again with this 3M Command hook!

I arranged some more glass tabletop trees beside each side of the stove for more sparkle.

Faux greenery garland displayed on the range hood adds another pop of green to my kitchen.

I love to display a vase of faux magnolia flowers and pine on the stovetop to decorate it when Im not using it.

Its easy to pickup and move to the side when Im cooking.

I also buy a new set of holiday tea towels each Christmas to hang on my stove and dishwasher.

Im excited to be repurposing several things in fun new ways to keep things fresh. With that said though, last year I went through a big purge of all my Christmas decor items and Im looking forward to adding a few key pieces we can continue to love and use for many years to come. Its also time to buy some red pillow covers too!

Last year we bought ourflocked Christmas tree, and I shared a big round up of my favorite flocked Christmas trees. I also bought someclip on candle lightsand I loved the extra lighting and character they added to our tree

This year, Im planning on adding one more layer of lighting with these twinkle lights. Im really looking forward to watching the little lights twinkle at night!

My plan right now, is to frame it and layer it with my favoritesnowy tree scene I printed a few years ago and used in my last house

I also fell hard for this brass leaf and glass bead version of mistletoe! How beautiful is this?! Im really looking forward to adding it to my Christmas collection and using it for years to come as a staple piece!

In my mind, Im really saving money in the long run!

Todd and I also have a tradition of collecting a picture frame ornament every year, and this year its dedicated to baby girl! The best thing about 2020 has easily been Ania!

Christmas Birch Trees In Snow Filled Baskets

I absolutely love these birch trees in my kitchen breakfast nook area and by my kitchen pantry!

They are perfect for the kitchen because they are slim and dont take up much room.

I hung icicle ornaments on the branches for a winter forest wonderland vibe so beautiful at night!

To cover the base of the birch trees I placed them in a basket.

Then I added a white faux fur rug around the base of the tree to fill in the basket it looks like the tree is sitting in snow! Its so beautiful!

I just folded the faux fur rug in half lengthwise and tucked it into the basket and arranged it so it looks like a snow drift!

I put the birch trees on timers so they automatically turn on at 4:30 pm when it starts getting dark here.

These gorgeous trees add such a pretty glow to my kitchen and the icicle ornaments and snowyfaux fur rugs add to the winter wonderland ambiance I was going for!

These pre-lit birch trees also look beautiful in a bedroom!

Christmas Kitchen Island Tray

I love to decorate my kitchen island for the seasons and holidays with a tray!

This gold and marble tray is one of my all time favorite trays. Its so stunning!

It has handles on it which makes it easy to move if I need more counter space to prep meals.

And its a great size not too big, but big enough to decorate with some holiday accents.

I added this medium gold and white ginger jar to the tray and filled it with faux white peony flowers and faux pine and evergreen sprays and stems.

Then I added a gold votive filled with faux white roses and faux pine stems.

I added a stunning glass tabletop tree, candle and a small bowl of mini gold ornaments to complete it!

I just love the elegant look of these holiday elements paired together!
