Summer in the Black Forest is a perfect time for anyone who is keen on hiking. There are numerous long-distance trails through the region lasting well over a week, as well a good choice of day hikes in places such as Freudenstadt, the National Park area and further south around Titisee and the Wutach valley.

Travel To And In The Black Forest
Travel around the Black Forest is relatively easy no matter if it is by private car or public transport.
The region benefits from excellent links on the German Autobahn system. Basel, Freiburg, Karlsruhe and Stuttgart are all linked by the high-speed road network and another route heads south from Stuttgart just off to the east of the area linking up with access points to Lake Constance and Switzerland.
The Black Forest has five airports within easy reach – so travellers from further away should have no problem finding a flight option.
The option of arriving by train also benefits from a good rail network, not only around the outskirts of the region but through it as well. The Black Forest train routes include the Schwardwaldbahn going through the central and northern section, the Höllentalbahn linking east and west across the southern Black Forest and some scenic shorter routes.

How Do I Get To The Black Forest In Germany
To reach this national forest by car, take the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse . You can also get there by taking the Line 245 bus to Mummelsee and then either hike the seven miles in or sharing a taxi for 16 to 20. The trip takes a little over one hour.

Home Décor Business Fired Warehouse Employee for Taking Unpaid Leave It Forced Her to Use, Federal Agency Charges
LOUIS – Black Forest Décor, LLC violated federal law when it forced a worker with a disability at its Enid, Okla., warehouse to take unpaid leave, despite her ability and willingness to work, and then fired her for exercising the very leave it forced her to take, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission charged in a lawsuit filed today.
According to the suit, Barbara Berry put Black Forest on notice in February 2018 that she had a medical condition that was likely to require surgery in the coming month, but that her doctor had released her to work until her surgery. In response, Black Forest informed Berry that she was being placed on unpaid leave until her surgery because the company said it was afraid it would be liable if anything happened to Berry while working. Although Berry kept Black Forest updated with details about her surgery, the company didn’t contact her again until three weeks later when it sent her a letter stating she was being fired for “excessive absences,” the EEOC charged.
“The ADA has long prohibited employers from discriminating against workers with disabilities,” said Andrea G. Baran, the EEOC’s regional attorney in St. Louis. “Many workers are entitled to the ADA’s protections even when they are fully able to work. Employers cannot rely on their own assumptions and biases when deciding how to treat employees in these situations.”

Horrible Place To Work Horrible Management
The Enid warehouse is under terrible management. There is no organization. Make a big deal about your favorite players. Employees are constantly threatened with dismissal if they do not make their renumbers, despite the fact that they have never received proper training. Because of the poor administration, most employees dont stick around for more than a month. Im confident that I saw several hundred employees pass through the warehouse during my tenure.

Destinations In The Black Forest Region
Those visitors looking to stay in the Black Forest area have a choice of larger towns and cities with plenty of to do on the edge of the region and good access to the sights and activities or the smaller towns and villages at the heart of the Black Forest at the sights themselves and with access to the outdoors from the doorstep.
