When Does Disney Start Decorating For Christmas At Epcot
EPCOT is the last park to receive its 2021 Disney World Christmas decorations makeover. However they make up for it with their popular Festival of the Holidays and Candle Light Processional.
EPCOT officially starts to celebrate the holiday season towards the last few days of November. The main reason being that Disney waits until the EPCOT food and Wine Festivalto end before decorating. Its important to note that its going to be an interesting year for Disney Christmas decorations at EPCOT. As many of you know, the park has a ton of construction going on. We will have to keep an eye on this park as we get closer to the Christmas.
Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge
I must admit my bias Disneyâs Animal Kingdom Lodge is my favorite Disney resort, hands down. This one-of-a-kind resort is home to beautiful African animals as well as a massive collection of African art and artifacts.
Disneyâs Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disneyâs Wilderness Lodge were designed by the same architect. So they both have jaw-dropping lobbies. Jambo House is the main building of Animal Kingdom Lodge and has an incredible, warmly lit Christmas tree. You can sometimes find a gingerbread or chocolate village here, near the BOMA Flavors of Africa restaurant. There are two fire pits here too, one indoors and one outdoors. Either one is perfect for snuggling with your sweetheart.
While youâre here you can also walk over, or take a complimentary van, to Kidani Village. This is the second building at the resort, built a few years after Jambo House.

How Long Are The Christmas Decorations Up At Disneyland
In total a little over six weeks. So long as you get to Disneyland by the first week of January, youll be guaranteed to see those glorious Disneyland winter decorations. The last day of Christmas lights at Disneyland is not always exactly announced beforehand, so while the lights may stay up during the first week or two of January, if you can visit before the end of December, you wont need to worry about when does Disneyland remove Christmas decorations. The cool thing about early January is it is also one of the best times to visit Disneyland.

Holiday Season At Magic Kingdom
The main focus of celebration in Magic Kingdom Park will be the Disney Very Merriest After Hours but the park will be fully decorated for all guests to enjoy along with plenty of holiday treats and merchandise to enjoy.
The special holiday projections from last year will return on most nights on Cinderella Castle, alternating periodically with the castles transformation into a Beacon of Magic for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.

Festivities Begin Nov 8
BAY LAKE, Fla. Walt Disney World is preparing for the upcoming holiday season.
Just like in years past, the theme park magically transformed from Halloween to Christmas overnight.
Main Street U.S.A. is now decked out in dazzling holiday-themed décor, featuring special touches to honor the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration.
In addition to the holiday décor now hanging from shops and buildings, crews pieced together the 60 foot tall Christmas tree.
Last month, Disney announced the entertainment offerings coming to each of the theme parks during the holiday season.

The first separately ticketed event, Disney Very Merriest After Hours, begins at Magic Kingdom on Nov. 8.

When Does Disney World Switch From Halloween To Christmas
If you have an early November Disney World trip planned you may be wondering when you will see the Disney Christmas decorations go up around the parks and resorts. We know this because we have been hearing from you and you want to know, when can I see Christmas at Disney World? This is something that does vary from year to year and is largely based on the filming of the Christmas Day parade.
The first thing up to consider is that you cant start Christmas celebrations until you take down your Halloween decorations. The Halloween decorations must stay up at the Magic Kingdom until the last Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party or in the case of this year, Boo Bash. The last After Hours Boo Bash is on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Its pretty magical, typically the next morning after the last party we find just about all the Halloween decor is gone.

Create A Disney World Christmas Decorations Crawl
We love resort hopping any time of year, but without a doubt, our favorite time to check out the Disney hotels is during the holidays. Thanks to complimentary transportation options like the Monorail, buses, and Disney Skyliner, visiting the Disney hotels with the best Christmas decorations isnt just easy, its also completely free.
All of the resorts at Disney World have their own unique seasonal décor, so narrow down which holidays youd like to see the most and plan your attack. As the hotels continue to expand their ornament collections, the list of must-see decorations gets longer. So, while you can experience the best of it in about a day, you could easily stretch it out to two days if you wanted to.
Keep in mind that due to parking restrictions and dining or room reservations being required to visit the resorts, you should plan to take Disney transportation to each hotel rather than driving. If you do plan to drive, you will need to show a valid room or dining reservation or else be turned away.

When Does Disney Take Down Christmas Decorations 2021
So when does Disney take down its Christmas decorations in 2021? In many cases as fast as the decorations go up, thats how fast Disney takes its Christmas decorations down. We typically see decorations start to come down a few days after New Years Eve with the exception being the lights on Cinderellas castle. This typically lasts until right after the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend which has been announced to be back in the begging of 2022!

Epcot is a little behind on the festivities this year due to Epcots International Food and Wine Festival ending so late. The Festival of the Holidays is starting November 26 and running to December 30, 2021. Additionally, you will be able to catch my favorite holiday show the Candlelight Processional on the 26th.

Do The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail Stroll Scavenger Hunt
My favorite holiday experience by far is doing the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail Stroll. All you have to do is pick up your Christmas Tree Stroll map from select locations, then you find the spot that has a tree marked on the map.

Once you get to that area, youll see what the Christmas tree theme is and add the matching sticker to it.
This year youll be able to find the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail Stroll map at the following locations:

Once you have found all of the Disney Springs Christmas trees, youll return to one of the map pickup locations and redeem your free holiday pin.
