We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the state in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database to screen service professionals. Businesses will not be admitted to the network if their owners or principals have the following felonies in their available criminal records*:

Who Does Homeadvisor Background Check
The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor’s network must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a businessthe background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

We are very pleased with our new carpet and very pleased with your excellent service.I had asked several friends and neighbors for recommendations before we started this project and not one really had a company they were impressed with. I found Teds Floor & Décor on Angies List and since I trust their reviews we decided to go with you.We couldnt be more pleased. From start to finish this job has been good. Jose was just the best..and the installers were terrific ! I found it amazing that they could remember Exactly where every piece of furniture went and replaced it exactly in the same spot even moved a bed for me !! They worked from 9am to after 7pm to complete a two-day job in one day! Most impressive.It was so nice to deal with a company who keeps appointments and shows up when they say they will.No hassles and no problems from start to finish !!The day after installation we found a small defect spot in the carpet and when you were told about it I had calls from you and Jose telling me it was no problem and you would do a cookie-cutter replacement at my convenience. That attitude and professionalism from a company is just outstanding and very hard to come by these days !!So as you can tell I am most impressed with Teds Floor and we will definitely have you install our new tile next year.Good people Great Service Terrific Job !!!Thank You !!

We highly recommend Ted Kerby. When we moved here from Colorado in 1999, we found Teds store. He has done every floor in our home more than once.Not because of problems, but change in décor. Our Mannington wood floors in the living room and dining room are still in great shape after almost 15 years.We recently had the same Mannington wood floors installed in the rest of the house and stone tile floors in entry. His installers are highly skilled and very reliable.
