You know how much I love pallet projects. This one is really simple, although it does require a bit of cutting. Just draw out your tree shape on the pallet and then cut it out.

Giant Frozen Christmas Ornaments

I want to make these so much, but unfortunately it doesnt typically get cold enough at Christmas where I live. These giant ornaments are nothing more than frozen balls of water, and theyre absolutely amazing!

If you live somewhere cold, you can easily make these, or let the kids do it. Theyre going to love them! You just mold the balls of ice with balloons and use food coloring to give them color. When theyre frozen, cut away the balloon and you have gorgeous Christmas ornaments for the front lawn.

Accenting your Christmas tree with red and green ornaments is a classic example of holiday decorating, but how about upping the ante with some of your favorite North Pole friends? Santa Claus ornaments remind any wayward elves not to get too naughty, and the reindeer stretch their legs as they bound from branch to branch. Snowmen ornaments smile politely, happy to be in your warm home despite their snowy origins theyre joined by a few penguin ornaments whore looking to escape winters chill for a bit…and maybe pick up a few cookies too!

Santa North Pole Christmas Tree And Decorating Ideas

Santa North Pole Christmas Tree and Decorating Ideas!

One of the things I look forward to in blogging each year is decorating my Michaels Tree. I think this is the fifth tree Ive had the opportunity to think up and decorate. This year as we are in our new home I was even more excited about the challenge. Since I still love our teal couch I needed to come up with a Christmas color scheme that would compliment our couch. I thought a simple red and white color scheme would be really classic and pretty. And it kind of reminded me of the North Pole and Santa.

As I was looking at Michaels and all of the fun holiday items I spied the most adorable Santa ornaments. Perfect for my Santa North Pole theme!!

I added classic striped red and white wide ribbon, felted ball garland and striped candy canes, plus I spray painted the star marquee lights from my tree last year.

Another item that I love is the galvanized tree enclosure. I get a little OCD about tree skirts. They always seem to get messy-looking with kids or pets. This galvanized enclosure is so clean and it fits in with our farmhouse decor. I love it!

I found the red and white BELIEVE pillow. It is perfect next to the tree. And I also love the striped Christmas puppy pillow from Michaels too!

And I was even able to incorporate my big DIY ladder into the decor. I have used it the past four years or so for many different uses.

Tiered Tomato Cage Christmas Trees

Tomato cages are the perfect shape for making outdoor Christmas trees. To make these, youll also want to pick up some wired garland, which you can get at any Dollar Store or Wal-Mart fairly cheap.

Youll need lights, too unless you get lighted garland, which will cut down your project by a step or two. These are gorgeous trees and you can still use the tomato cages come spring for your gardenyou just take the garland off when Christmas is over.
