Harbor Haunts Walking Tour
At The Whaling Museum & Education Center in Cold Spring Harbor, discover the eerie tales of Bedlam Street on this guided tour with cider and snacks. The 6 PM walking tour is a spookier version. This event is light rain or shine.

The Rise Of The Jack O
Unfortunately, this wonderful Halloween on Long Island event will not be running this year once again. Hopefully, 2022 will be the year for their triumphant and widely-missed return.
The wondrous and beautiful historic grounds at Old Westbury Gardens are magically turned into a pumpkin wonderland! This family-friendly event shows off more than 5,000 hand-carved illuminated jack o-lanterns creatively arranged along a scenic walking path and set to music.
During the month of October, Rise of the Jack-O-Lanterns features animated jack o-lanterns, non-scary jack o-lantern characters who talk and sing along the trail, and live carving demonstrations.

One of the highlights is Westbury Field of Screams, a private haunt located in Westbury. Laura and Zack Restivo have been creating this spooky walk for almost a decade. Walking through their haunt takes about 20 minutes, and is filled with rooms themed around clowns, zombies and more. They even have live actors on Halloween.
The Westbury Field of Screams is open on Oct. 29, 30 and 31 from 6 to 11 p.m.
Luna Parks Halloween Harvest

This Halloween season, a brand-new holiday experience will open at the Samanea New York in Westbury: Halloween House Long Island. This is an indoor, one-of-a-kind, 10-room Halloween experience that family members of all ages will enjoy. Halloween House Long Island is located on the second floor of the mall at 1500 Old Country Road in Westbury. Tickets are available in person as well as online and are on sale now at
Halloween House Long Island offers guests a spooktacular 10,000 square foot multi-room walk-through experience during the entire month of October. Each of the 10 rooms will be curated by set designers, artists and Halloween enthusiasts using creative lighting, props and effects that bring to life the sights, sounds, characters and traditions associated with the Halloween season with some interesting twists. The event will be following all health safety rules.
Halloween House Long Island features a one-of-a-kind walkthrough experience for guests at the mall, including a Trick or Treat Room, a Glow in the Dark Room, a 1940s-inspired ‘Vintage Haunted House’ Room and Pumpkin Patch. During the month there will be scheduled live professional pumpkin carvers appearing to demonstrate and share their skills. There is also a room dedicated to the Netflix show Stranger Things with various props and decorations in tribute to the series.

Sixteen homes have won spots on a map of houses decorated for Halloween. Another four out of town homes also were chosen for the Halloween Spirit Map that residents can use to locate and drive by to see outstanding Halloween themes.
The Huntington home winners are third place: Laura Aloe, second, Suzanne Zaffiris and first, Bian Mulcahy. The homes on the map are in Huntington, Huntington Station, Halesite, Cold Spring Harbor, Greenlawn, Melville, East Northport and Northport.
The map and contest were put together by the staff of Suffolk County Legislator William Doc Spencer.

Yaphank Trail Of Terror And Fall Family Festival

A Nightmare On Beech Street
Nightmare on Beech Street is a haunted dining experience, unlike anything Long Island has seen before. The Beach House will be fully transformed by the Blood Manor team to create a spooky atmosphere that everyone will love this Halloween season. Haunted Mansion On Homestead

The third year of display, this handmade display glows at night and is best viewed when the black lights are on, which is daily from dusk 10:00pm. This one is a hit with younger kids! When there are a lot of kids around, the Coglianese family plays music for the display and will have it during the day on Halloween. Video and Audio from dusk to 9:00pm, weather pendent.
