- Before starting, carefully unpack your shades and mounting hardware. To familiarize yourself with the contents of your box, check the printed instructions included with your product.
- Begin your installation by positioning your mounting brackets 2 1/2 inches in from each side of your window along the top of the window opening. Line up the front of each bracket so that they are even. Mark where your screws will go by lightly tapping starter holes into the mounting surface through the top slot of the bracket, and then fastening the supply screws for each one. Use any additional center-support bracket that may be included. The proper number of brackets will be included based on the width of your shade.
- Install your head rail by hooking the front of your bracket and rotating it down to snap into place.
- Finish by lowering and testing your new shade. To lower your shade, pull the cord toward the center of your shade and slowly raise your hand while holding onto the cord. To raise your shade, pull the cord away from the shade at any angle.
- Thatâs it. Itâs that easy.

Installation For An Outside Mount
